The Optical Shop supplies prescription glasses (as well as our ready reading range) to the local community and is committed to providing honest optical advice that is appropriate to customer needs and budgets. Just bring your latest optical prescription along with you, and we will help you select frames and lenses that are right for you.
We have a wide range of affordable frames, from design-led contemporary eyewear to more traditional styles. There is a frame and lens to suit you, from budget frames to designer frames, such as Cocoa Mint, Mazzimo, Jensen and the Anton Phillips titanium range.
The Optical Shop offers a variety of lenses, including single vision, bifocals, office vision, and varifocals. As well as our own lenses, we can also supply branded lenses such as Essilor and Hoya. Our History
Other lens options available are thinner lenses, coatings – anti-reflective/antiglare, blue light filters, UV400 tints and photochromic or transition lenses.
